  Honza Cervenka: After 31...Rxa4 white could have gained strong attack, for example 32.Qf4 gxh5 (forced by threat 33.h6+ Kg8 34.Rxd4! ) 33.Qg5+ Kh8 (33...Kf8 34.Rxd4! cxd4 35.Bxe6 ) 34.Bxh5 Rxc4 35.Rd3 or 32.Rb1 (threatening Rb7) 32...Qc6 33.Qf4 Qc7 34.hxg6 hxg6 35.Qg5 Kf7 (35...Rxc4 36.Bh5 ) 36.Rc1 preparing Rc3. Nevertheless, I think that bad position with a plus Pawn is better than bad position with equal material and that 31...Rxa4 would have been better than the text move.
Feb-13-14  Poisonpawns: Was the blunder 38..Qd3?? a result of a time scramble? Black was in trouble anyway, but that move accelerated things a bit, and Hot kept playing on,possibly out of frustration. I think Black is fine after 31..Rb8, it is the follow up 32..gxh5? that is suspect.The King is not safe after this. Better is 32..Qc8 with the idea of bringing the Queen to f8 to keep a look over the Kingside.Place the Rook on B3 and the Knight on d4 is a monster. Whites atack will not work.The game is =
