Honza Cervenka: Mate on b5 is inevitable.
Mar-02-06  Raskolnikov: It is possibly one of these games why I like the style of Karpov
Jun-21-06  Helios727: This game is sort of a curiosity for me since for a long time I have had a book by Leonard Barden in which he gives this game, plus another, as illustrative of the Fischer/Karpov ending with active Bishop against passive Knight. He starts with move 34. Rf8+, but when I play Chessmaster against itself, it variates immediately with Kd7 and draws. Makes one wonder.
Apr-16-09  ToTheDeath: 44...Ng5?? walks into mate- 44...Nf2+ 45.Ke3 Nd1+ 46.Kf3 Rg8 looks defensible.
Jun-16-20  Helios727: Ha. Here I go again. Stockfish gives no clear advantage starting with move 34 until Black blows it with 43... h4 and no winning advantage until Black blows it again with 44... Ng5.
