Nov-14-04  kostich in time: I really have no idea why Chess base lists this as a "notable game' other than its with Kramnik..its a very colorless, timid grandmaster draw..incidentally, I berlieve Heubner once agreed to a draw with some other grandmaster after the FIRST move. Heubner has played far, far more memorable-and more brilliant games than this.
Nov-14-04  acirce: Because it was put in a game collection as an ironic gesture.

Oct-02-05  Athenea: Why Kramnik here bothered himself walking from his room to the chessboard???

he could have avoided fatigue ( walking, taking the elevator, saying hi to the press) by calling from his hotel room and according a telephonic draw.
