Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-04-04  refutor: interesting endgame
Apr-04-04  ruylopez900: Instructional in what to do when down in piece power, but up in pawns.
May-08-06  cantdropwontstop: Kind of a scrappy game early on.
17 Rfc1! (the right rook) wins a
pawn. Later, Kuzmin needlessly
dumps an exchange on move 21
(21 Qxd8, for ex., is possible
before 21 f3?), but then Miles
doesn't simply retreat with 24...Rcc8! retaining a safe exchange, allowing White to be quite the
scrappy 'lil peanut later.
Oct-12-20  nummerzwei: After White's 48th move, the same ending as in the well known game Vidmar vs Alekhine, 1930 arose. Like Vidmar, Kuzmin opted to defend passively, but this time, White managed to hold the position.

Alternatively, he could also have played 52.g4 Rd6 53.Kg3, transposing to the drawing lines pointed out in the comment section of the Alekhine game.
