Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-25-04  fgh: 16. Qd3+!!???? is a very interesting queen sacrifice but unsound ;-)
Dec-25-04  Kajtek: Was this a blitz game?
Jan-07-05  fgh: No, this game was played in Dortmund 1992!
Jan-07-05  aw1988: Nevertheless black is lost. Perhaps he wanted to go out with a bang.
Aug-10-05  moiz: surely, this is blunder by black, who, in his right mind, would make a move like that??
Sep-28-07  silviochess: There are some very nice Shirov miniatures but this is a less interesting one,the result of a rare gross blunder by a strong opponent in the early stage of the game.
Apr-25-09  WhiteRook48: 16...Qd3+???
Nov-28-09  hedgeh0g: After a move like Qd3+??, there's not much you can do besides sigh, sign the scoresheet, leave the playing hall and try to get on with your life.
Nov-29-09  whiteshark: mental blackout
Nov-14-11  AnalyzeThis: I think hedgehog gave a good summary. Hard to understand, white has just played Rh3.
