Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-29-04  InspiredByMorphy: Very well played by black.
Jan-29-04  Yuri54: White should have kept the dark squared bishop by playing Bxd4. Black would have a difficult time picking off the queenside or kingside pawns. BD4 protects b2 and f2. It was probably one of those moments for white where he played what he saw right away, free pawn but lost endgame
Jan-29-04  TrueFiendish: With black infiltrating on the c-file white should still lose the endgame after 29.Bxd4, don't you think?
Jan-31-04  InspiredByMorphy: No. After 29.Bxd4 White would have an easy win. Black has no attack, whites king is safe, down one piece, but up two pawns, and most importantly..better position. With patient play White should win.
