Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-01-04  Whitehat1963: Much has been made of the fact that Fischer whipped Larsen 6-0 in their candidates match, but Spassky also owned Larsen. Here is a brief example.
Aug-08-04  Everett: I think Larsen is a great player, but this seems to be evidence that he took too many risks against the best players, when perhaps he should have played more solidly. All his games against Fischer were exciting and double-edged, but Fischer and Spassky during these years were just too tough.
Mar-27-07  MIDA201: i agreed with everet, larsen took a lot of risk against the best players in this time.

16.Rd3?

What was Larsen thinking? What did he miss? Defending the black side after taking the piece looks quite easy.

FSR: Their lifetime score was +19 =17 -6 in favor of Spassky: http://www.chessgames.com/perl/ches...
Jun-02-15  Zonszein: Larsen seems to be losing a pawn (at least) so he decided to go for 16-Rd3...
Apr-01-16  Mr. V: What was the idea behind 21.Ba3?
