Mar-26-08  MichAdams: <Speelman was in time trouble. Gheorghiu had been attacking strongly throughout the game. Black had just played 30...Rd2! to ease the pressure (31.Rxd2 is met by Qe3+). Thinking this to be a time-pressure blunder, Gheorghiu replied with 31.Rxc5?? losing immediately to 31...Qe3+! 32.Kh1 Qxc5!. Even grandmasters sometimes fall victim to back-rank mating combinations.> -- BCM
Aug-16-22  Rudolf Zipperer: Crazy game. I had a correspondence game, which followed it until 20. 0-0.

I think it shows that castling is necessary for White
