Jun-24-03  kevin86: If 35...Rxe7 36 Rxe7+ Kg8 37 Rg7 mate.A brilliant finish!!!
Jun-25-03  drukenknight: does 34...Kxg6 hold?
Jun-25-03  caseyclyde: After 34...Kxg6, my computer likes 35. Rd7. If 35...Bxd7 then 36. Qe5 threatening mate. After 36...Rg8 there was a forced mate in 5. After 35...Rg8, 36.Qxe6 forces mate. God bless these computers.
Jun-25-03  TheLighterSide: I am Canadian, I love it!
Jan-25-06  sfm: <I am Canadian, I love it!>

So do I! Even though not a Canadian!

<does 34...Kxg6 hold?> Then 35.Qe5 looks nasty, e.g. 35-,Qb7 36.Txb5,axb 37.gxf+ and black hasn't got a square he want to put his King on...

Real pretty finish. The queen walks of the file protected by Mr. Black Rook and stops right in his face.

May-11-06  BadTemper: queen x rook mates also... weird and cool
