Sep-10-05  Resignation Trap: Here is a photo of the players at the start of the game: http://www.chessville.com/images/Im... .
Nov-28-06  nescio: At first glance this looks like a smooth victory for Tal, but there is a remarkable moment after 21...fxe4. He could have completed his work with 22.Rxf8+ and 23.Bxe4. Instead 22.Bxe4 gives his opponent the chance to counter with 22...Rxf1+ 23.Rxf1 Ne3 and Tal would have lost at least a half-point. But De Greiff replied to the mistake with a mistake of his own and so nothing happened.
Mar-14-08  Eyal: De Greiff also blundered horribly with 28...Rf7?? - After 28...Kh8 (29.d5+ Ng7) White is certainly better, but material is equal and there's no immediate forced win.
May-08-18  jabinjikanza: Grieff in total grief
May-08-20  carpovius: if 22. Bxe4 Rxf1+ 23. Rxf1 Nxe3 then 24. Qf2 Nxf1 25. Qxf1 Bxc6 26. Qc4+ Kf8 27. 27. Bxc6 and where is de greiff 1/2 point?
May-08-20  carpovius: if 28...Kh8 then 29. Rf1 Qg6 30. d5+ Ng7 31. Rxf8+ Bxf8 32. Be8 Qxe6 33. dxe6 Kg8 34. Bf7+ Kh8 35. Bf6
