Kibitzer's Corner
May-16-08  Whitehat1963: 33. Ke2??

I'd like to apply for a government Grant to study ways to lose chess games faster. Thirty-three moves is too long to play against someone as good as Tal.

May-14-20  carpovius: If 33. Bf1 Bxg4 34. Qxg4 Bxb2 35. Qg3 Be5 36. Qxh2 Rxh2 37. Bxb5 Rh1 38. Bf1 and now what?
May-15-20  andrewjsacks: Grant's Tomb.
May-15-20  SpamIAm: <carpovius>, after your suggested 35.Qg3? black has better than 35...Be5?, namely both 35...Qxg3+ 36.Kxg3 Rxf1 and even better 35...Rxf1+ 36.Kxf1 Qxg3.
May-22-20  carpovius: <spamiam> indeed
