  Chessical: Mieses plays a Danish Gambit against a strong opponent who keeps hold of the gambit pawn.

Mieses builds up a initiative after 9.Nxf7!, but Perlis holds on until 26...Kh7?!

The counter-intuitive <26...Kf7!> walking into an apparant danger-zone would instead have held the game: 27.Rxc7+ Ke6 28.f5+ Kxe5 29.Rxg7 Nf3+ 30.Kf2 Nxh2=
