  DanQuigley: 15...Kd8? is the critical error. Computer programs claim equality for Black after 15...Kf8 instead, although in the six times the position was reached historically, Black only managed the task twice, losing the other four. This is no fun to play as Black.

  DanQuigley: When Black plays 8...a6 he transposes into a B99 Sicilian. These aren't played much by Black any more because they are so hard to defend over the board.
