Black escapes with <23...Qxb2+ 24.Kd1 Qb1+ 25.Bc1 Qxc1+! 26.Kxc1 Kh7>. White maintains a strpmg attack, but it ain't mate just yet.

That the double Rook sac was wrongly given as actually being played by Negyesy And Hegyi in their 1965 'Combination In Chess' finishing the game on move 26.

The magazine points out that one Rook sac will do it where we see both sides saccing pieces to give their respective Kings flight squares.

20.Rh8+ (to give after 23.Rh1 the White King d1 as a flight square) 20...Kxh8 21.Qh3+ Bh4 (to give the BK e7 as a flight square ) 22.Qxh4+ and 23. Rh1 is a line from the mag given by Fritz as winning.
