  tpstar: Instead of allowing 7 ... b5 & 8 ... Bb7 developing the Queenside with tempo, White chose 7. a4 accepting the hole at b4. Interesting that 14 ... a5 created a hole at b5 which White used for the pin (17. Bb5) plus the liquidation (18. d5). Note 24 ... Qa1+ 25. Bf1 Rf8 26. Rd8 wins, then White finishes with 31. Re8+ Rxe8 32. Qxe8+ Kh7 33. Bf5+ mates.

tpstar-HPJB (FICS 2/5/06): 1. e4 c6 2. d4 d5 3. ed cd 4. c4 e6 5. Nc3 dc 6. Bxc4 a6 7. Nf3 (7. a4) b5 8. Bd3 Nf6 9. 0-0 Nc6 10. Re1 g6!? 11. Bg5 h5?! 12. d5 Nb4 13. Be4 Ng4?? 14. Bxd8 1-0.
