  Penguincw: Ooh. 43.Qxd7 just threw the game away, as white was up a queen for rook and pawn. However, I wouldn't blame white too much for missing the back rank mate, considering white already made a flight square on move 4.

To prevent mate, white could've played 43.Be5+, blocking the mate, and also vacating h2. If black's not careful, the tables could turn. If 43...f6, then 44.Qxf6+ K any 45.Qxf7+ or Qg6+, depending on what the king concedes controls of) Bg7 46.Qxg7# 1-0.
