Kibitzer's Corner
May-12-06  Autoreparaturwerkbau: 14.Qb1?? Palermos obviously weren't brothers. Brothers should play draws, no? Polgar sisters had 36 draws out of 40 games in the database (until 1992). On the other side, amazingly, after year 1992 the remaining 16 games were all decided (!).
Mar-10-12  technical draw: Did white resign because he didn't take the knight on d4 or am I missing something?
Mar-10-12  shivasuri4: <technical draw>, Black follows 14.Qb1 with Nxc3, attacking the queen and removing the defender of the e2 bishop. After the recapture with either pawn or bishop, Nxe2+ and then Nxc3 wins a piece and a pawn.
Mar-10-12  galdur: 14...Nxc3 and black wins a piece.
Mar-10-12  technical draw: Thank you all for the answers. I guess white should have played 14.exd4. At least there would have been some play left.
