Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-15-04  charms: This is not a convincing argument against the Blackmar-Diemer Gambit. White misplayed a clearly drawn ending somewhere after move 24.

In general, dubios openings seem to have high success rates, as the opening explorer shows. Maybe some statistical background could lighten the dark a bit. (Maybe some subcategory of opening statistics at top level could help here.)

Nov-15-04  Saruman: I dislike whites opening, maybe he could have tried something wild like 7.Nb5! or Bc4.
Nov-15-04  Saruman: After 7.-Nxb5 8.Bxb5+ c6(-Bd7 Bc4! with threats on b7 and Qxf7#)9.Qxf5 cxb5 10.Qxb5+ Qd7 11.Qxd7+ Nxd7 12.Nf3 and white is slightly better.

But there might of course be other tactical possibilities for white that I have overlooked. So tell me if thats the case!
