Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-24-08  Ghengis Pawn IV: Hello,

Same Ghengis Pawn as all the others, after a few years sans internet, it's good being back!

Another victim of the weirdly placed knight. Not as bad as the 2008 incident...but still a good one. Seems the weirdly placed knight gets even the best from time to time. Remember the game where Kasparov resigned early on against someone well below the 2500+ because of the weirdly placed knight scooping up the pawns...

Well, having been playing only chessmaster for the last two years, I'm finding it tough again in blitz games learning how to defend in blitz against 1. e4 - h5 2. d4 h4....everything I know about chess says this nonsense shouldn't work, but it got me a few days ago. I was too comfortable playing against standard computer openings!

Anyhow, merry Christmas, happy holidays!
