Mar-11-04  ughaibu: This is great for a twelve-mover. Presumably there's a proverb about the evils waiting for those who push the h-pawn against the Budapest.
Mar-11-04  ughaibu: Well, it looks like another Geller-Naumkin case, white's getting three pieces for the queen by the looks of it, I guess it's best to play the moves before counting the pieces.
Nov-18-06  syracrophy: 10...♘e3!! <11.fxe3 Bg3#; 11.Bxe3 Rxe3! 12.Qxe3 <12.fxe3 Bg3#> 12...Nc2+ >

12...♗b4!! <13.Qxb4 or 13.Nxb4 Qd1#; 13.Qd2 Bxd2+ 14.Bxd2 Nxc2+ >

FSR: <syracrophy> Did you read what ughaibu wrote? Why isn't 13.Nxe3 just advantage White?
Aug-26-11  sneaky pete: Another case of playing the wrong knight.

and now maybe 11.Qxd3 Bb4+ 12.Qc3 Bxc3+ 13.Nxc3 .. white only gets 2 pieces for his queen.
