Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-25-04  Helloween: White wins because of 12...Qe8 13.Bd6+ and 14.Nc7.

5.Nd5 is a strong move in this opening, unlike in the Belgrade Gambit. 5...Bg7 is met with 6.Bg5, controlling the dark squares. A nice miniature in this line is Muller vs NN, 1928 .

Feb-01-05  aw1988: Well folks, you've asked for the dancing rook, but we get the next best thing: the dancing minor pieces!
Dec-24-05  EmperorAtahualpa: Why 5...h6? Is there anything wrong with the standard 5...Bg7? If so, I am missing it.
Dec-30-05  EmperorAtahualpa: A useful link for how Black could have played this game is D Valerga vs J Rosito, 1996.
Dec-30-05  IT4LICO: why not the simple 13. Nb6 and the rok is trapped? After the bishop check and the fork the queen is not trapped (or is it?), because of Qd8...
Aug-20-09  WhiteRook48: 13 Nb6 Ra7
Jun-29-11  Bozantium: 13. Nb6 Ra7 14. Bb8 Nxb8 15. Qd6+ is worse than 13. Bd6+ but it still traps the rook.
