Mar-14-05  EinZweiDrei: 21 ...b5 equalizes the position.
Mar-14-05  InspiredByMorphy: <EinZweiDrei> 21. ...b5 22.Be2 Re4 23.f4 would be a good continuation for white.
Mar-14-05  Saruman: <IBM> A very quick evalution but can black play 23.-Rxe2!? 24.Rxe2 Bg4=, in your line?
Jun-15-20  Atking: I read somewhere that stupid comment Mongredien would be actually a 1600 Elo player. I doubt that a player of this average could play as good. Without this gross mistake offering Qxh6+ on a platter, as noted EinZweiDrei 21...b5 equalizes! It looks more modern approach than Paulsen did at time.
Jun-15-20  sudoplatov: EDO has Morphy as 2806 (#1) and MongrĂ©dien at 2298 (#84) in 1859.
Jun-15-20  Atking: <sudapov> Thanks. This average +2800 for Morphy and Mongredien around 2300 looks a better evaluation.
