plang: In Rozentalis-I.Sokolov Tilburg 1993 White had played 18 Nh5; 18 Kf2 was new. Vescovi was critical of 27..fxe!? saying that it gave White the advantage of knight versus bad bishop. 27..Rxe5 would have been good for equality. Rather than Onischuk's 29..Bd6?! Vescovi recommended 29..a4. White had a clear edge after 40..Bxh4?; instead 40..Rd8 would have been close to equal. 44..Rd8 45 Nxb6..Bf6 46 h6! would have been immediately winning for White. 47 Nd7 would have been stronger. After 48 Rg3? the win was gone; better was 48 d6..Kb7 49 f4..Kc6 50 Rg2..Kd7 51 Rd2..Rh4 52 Nxb6..Kc6 53 Nd5..Kd7 54 Nxf6..gxf 55 Rd5..Rh3 56 Rxa5..Rxb3 57 Kf5 winning.
