Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-19-03  patzer2: Defirmian blunders with 36...♖xe4?? Bologan's 36.♖xg5! wins a whole piece as recapturing with 37...fx♖g5, drops a second rook after 38. ♕x♖e5 due to the back rank mate threat 39. ♖f8#.

Also interesting about this game is how Bologan appears to gain an edge out of the opening with his two Knights against Defirmian's two Bishops (and without either of Defirmian's Bishops being particularly "bad").

Dec-19-03  patzer2: Defirmian resigns after seeing Bologan's intended finish with 44...Kh6 45. Rg1xg6+ hxg6 46. Rh8+ Kg7 47. Qg8#.
Dec-19-03  patzer2: DeFirmian's 42...Ra5?? was bad, as it allows Bologan's winning combination. Better was 42...Qe5, countering White's threat and giving Black drawing chances.
