Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-10-04  fatbaldguy: I couldn't find anything better for white, but one would think there "has" to be a way to take advantage of the black queen's predicament after 13 ... Q:b2. That said, the way she wriggles out of trouble from b2 to c7 in six moves would make Houdini proud.
Jan-10-04  Brian Watson: Interesting game.
If white had played 13.Rfd1 instead of 13.Rad1, 13..Qxb2 would obviously have gotten the queen trapped. I'm guessing white provoked Qxb2, and that black in turn calculated (not gambled) that the queen couldn't be trapped and that none of the discovered attacks were dangerous.

17.a4 Ndb4 (not 17..Nf6 18.Rb1 Qd5 19.Nc7) 18.Bxb4 Nxb4 doesn't go anywhere.
