plang: 10 Qd1 was a new move; 10 a3, 10 cxd and 10 Rd1 had been played previously. After 20..dxc the pawns on c4 and e4 were weak. 32..Kh7?! made Black's situation worse; 32..Qxb5 would have been better. 36..fxg?! gave up control of e5; 36..Nd5 was suggested though at this point White is already clearly better. 40 Be5..Rxe5 41 dxe..Nxe3 would have complicated White's task though after 42 Rb1 he should still win. After Georgiev's 40 Ra6 the response 40..Re6 would have been refuted by 41 Be5.
