  wwall: Perhaps best is 19...Qa6.

22...Qd7 23.Rc7.

If 24...Qh6, then 25.Be4+ Kf7 (or 25...Kg7) 26.Rc7+ leads to mate.

After 25.Rxf5, if 25...Qxf5 26.Be4 wins the Queen. If 25...Kxf5??, then 26,Be4 mate.

Oct-04-05  aw1988: There has to be improvement before Black's move 19, as the suggested Qa6 still leaves Black in a difficult position...

Fusilli: 15... Qxe2, opening the e-file for a white rook, looks nearly insane to me. I'd say, 15...Rd8 instead.

Phony Benoni: 8...Nc6 may have been the start of Black's problems, as it allowed White to play 9.d5 with tempo and start work on the e6 square. A more usual idea for Black is 8...a5 and 9...Na6, with other options for the knight.

I also wonder about the whole seuqence starting 12...Nxd4. Why did Black even bother castling?

15...Qxe2 indeed feels suicidal. Your king is caught in the center, White has just played 15.c5 to bust open an attacking line--and you help him out by opening another?

If 19...Qa6 is best, I'd say Black's game is hopeless. After 20.Bd5+ Kg6 21.Re7 it's hard to believe that Black can survice, what with three irrelevant pieces and White's other rook about to invade the 7th rank via the c-file.
