Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-19-04  acirce: Weird king manoeuvre straight into the mating net...
Jun-19-04  Dillinger: seconds ticking away or did white just play on out of spite? i cant think of any other reason for not resigning sooner.
Jun-19-04  acirce: When should he have resigned otherwise, you mean?
Jun-19-04  Dillinger: at least after Re1+ but again I dont know what time trouble he was under to walk into mate at that point.
Jun-19-04  acirce: Yeah, could have been time trouble but can't he play on after 51.Re2 ?
Jun-19-04  Dillinger: f4+ kd3 Rc3+ kd2 is as far as i got, then chessmaster gives Ra1 followed by f3 which looks crushing.
Jun-20-04  shr0pshire: Mateusz should have resigned on move 29. He had nothing going after his queen got trapped. And it was a just a matter of time utnil Radjabov won the game.
Jun-20-04  acirce: It is not at all easy to win such a position with exchange for pawn.
May-24-05  Mysterymove: If you look at Radjabov's games, I think he often has to play more moves with advantage than older players do before his opponents resign.
