FSR: 11...Nd6?? is a grotesque blunder in a theoretical position that is fine (at least) for Black. 11...Nc5 and 11...Nf6 both lead to equal/drawish positions, and according to Donaldson & Silman (Accelerated Dragons (1998), p. 34) the greedy 11...Bxd4!? 12.Bxd4 Nc5 is a serious try for advantage. Lane's 11...Nd6?? just hangs a piece. Unbelievable.
Jun-03-14  jerseybob: Another game between these 2 from an early-60's U.S. Women's Chp. saw Lane, as black, castling queenside in a Najdorf! Gresser gave a classic demonstration of why that's no good.
