Chessical: A formidably energetic game by Duras fully exploiting a plausible but unsound move <9....Be7?> by his opponent in the otherwise very solid Berlin Defence.

<9....Be7?> rather than the book moves of <9...Ne6 10.Nxe6 dxe6>, allows 10.Qg4 preventing black from K-side castling as if 10...0-0? then 11.Bh6!

Raskovsky struggles but he cannot get his K to safety. If <16...0-0-0> then 17.Nc5!, and if <19...0-0-0> 20.Qe3

<21.b5!> takes advantage of the pin on the pawn at <e6>

<22...Kd8> also loses after <23.c4>

The finish is <26.Qxd5+> Kb6 27.Rb1+ Ka6 28.Qc4+ Ka5 29.Qc5+ Ka6 30.Qa3+
