Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-26-04  pawnstar3: hard to believe black is an 1800- he played more like a 1200 here
Aug-26-04  Dpm: how do games like this get into databases??
Aug-26-04  Lawrence: Hi <Dpm>, welcome to this great site, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. About this game......well, who's perfect?
Sep-03-04  namyzarc: Why not 23. Rxd4, immediately snagging the free bishop? Is white just toying with him at this point?
Sep-03-04  iron maiden: <namyzarc>, welcome to the wonderful world that is chessgames.com. My guess is that White either didn't want to humiliate him further or just moved the wrong piece. Or, of course, the game score could be inaccurate.
Jul-06-09  JoeGarnier: Jeremy Volkmann is a friend of mine who was seventeen when he played this game. According to his description Hana Itkis was highly attractive and wearing a rather reveling shirt. Obviously I cannot confirm this accusation but it does provide an explanation for his terrible play.
Jul-06-09  chillowack: There must be an error in the score here: 23.Rxd4 would not have been passed up by a 2100 player.

The strange thing is that this error was pointed out almost five years ago by namyzarc, and it still has not been corrected.
