Chessical: Chau Sau Ming discovers why this variation of the Modern Benoni is so seldom played at the top level these days.

15...Nxg6? is the beginning of the end, <15...hxg6> 16.Ng5 Rh4 17.Qe1 Rh8 18.Qg3 seem safer, but still less than pleasant for Black.

<17....f6?> allows Rowson the following combination, but Black's position is already compromised, and <17...f5> 18.Nxh7 Kxh7 19.Qh5+ Kg7 20.Bh6+ Kf7 21.Bxf5 is only relatively better.

<18.Nxh7!> Collapses his opponent's position with the threat of 20.Bh6
