Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-12-07  zb2cr: Why not 24. ... Nxd6; 25. Rxd6, Qa5 attacking the White Rook at e1?
Dec-12-07  Assassinater: My instinct would be 25. gxf6 and then if 25... Ne8 then 26. Qxb6 f7 and the rook is trapped and white still has that d pawn.
Dec-12-07  zb2cr: <Assassinater>,

Your line looks reasonable. I don't have any time to analyze--I'm at work--but maybe some kind of counterthreat by Black such as 25. ... c3 first might get somewhere.

Dec-12-07  Assassinater: The thing is, after something like 25... c3 26. Re2, then what does black have left? White's still threatening his original threats and black will have to address them sometime and really doesn't seem to have enough peices to sustain a counterattack.
