An Englishman: Good Evening: Who said draws are boring?

Regarding the opening: about a quarter-century ago, when 10.Bd2 gained prominence, I created the defense 10...Nbd7!?, intending 11.Ba5,Nb6. If now 12.b4,Nc4 is equal, and 12.b3,b4 with the idea of Nbd4 is also fine. If 12.Bxb6,cxb6 and Black starts a surprisingly effective pawn storm down the Queenside.

The actual game transposes into what I thought was the toughest line, 12.Nbd2, and I must admit that both sides came up with better ideas than I did. The ingenuity both players show is pretty darn good.
