plang: Ashdod was a classical category 16 six player single round robin tournament which deserves better coverage on this site. A British Chess Magazine poll ranked Avrukh-Sutovsky as the 4th best game played in 2004 (Kasparov ranked it 6th).

Gelfand-Sutovsky is another game from this event that deserves inclusion.

The two games are #s 449 and 450 in Informant 92.
