Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-08-05  thesonicvision: was the bishop sac sound?
Apr-08-05  Boomie: The piece sac appears to be bad. Black starts to drift with 20...♕c8 and wastes times with all the knight moves that lead nowhere. One line that maintains the edge is: 20... h5 21. ♖f7 ♖d7 22. ♖xd7 ♕xd7 23. ♖f1 h4
Jul-30-07  sfm: Terrible game! I think Alapin's sacrifice was an oversight. White is completely lost but black seems to want to retire early and blunders an easy win away.
Mar-10-09  YoungEd: I agree with <Boomie> and <sfm>. I think Alapin just overlooked the Queen check leading to the win of a piece on move 14. Black should have contested the f-file at some point, trading down to a winning ending.
Feb-21-11  WhiteRook48: this was not a good game, filled with stupid mistakes
