  offramp: In the Kings Gambit it is crucial to <GIVE UP> more material, e.g. by playing Nxf7.

In this paleolithic game White gave up his f-pawn at move 2 then straight away got on the defence.

By move 13 White is a big loser.

His position is a wreck. Is was White that offered the gambit, but he has been on the defensive since move 3!!
