Jan-03-06  Jaymthetactician: My Shredder play's 5.Qd3! or 5.Nb5

That crazy bishop sure isnt the best program. Then again Shredder had a pretty strong attack. I wonder if LaBourdonnais faced off against crazy bishop who would win? I'd still say crazy bishop. Crazy Bishop I estimate to be U1700 in strength judging by the queenloss, but I'd have to see more of it's games to confirm, in this game no master would give up the queen like that.

Jan-03-06  aw1988: Nc3 Bb4 Be2 is in fact known to bring White a very strong attack.
Jan-03-06  BrotherJed: The Crazy Bishop has an estimated elo of 2269.
Jan-05-06  Averageguy: <Jaymthetactician> Crazy Bishop gave up the queen becaused it was trapped.
Jan-05-06  blingice: <Averageguy> His point, I believe, was that a good engine wouldn't've gotten trapped at all. I'm wondering why it didn't move 15..♕xh5, though.
Jan-05-06  Jaymthetactician: 2269? I hardly believe that a national master would have a trapped queen. Greco and Morphies strength of play after analysing a few games with a computer is higher then Crazy bishops (the very few games where NN is actually good, like Grecos longest game using the French, and the NN using the sicilian where NN soundly sacrifices a knight for two passed pawns, the last move g4 was replaced with h3 by I think Lolli though.) and there not estimated at 2269 (I estimate them at U1600). I do estimation by how many blunders played and how many accurate moves made.
Jan-05-06  Averageguy: <blingice> 15...Qxh5 16.Qxd6+ will most likely mate shortly.
May-09-06  ArturoRivera: Labourdaniss perhaps can beat crazy bishop even with pawn odds.
Dec-29-08  Zzyw: Black played on a little too long here imo.
