Kibitzer's Corner
May-25-08  lost in space: A game between two relativley unknown german players from the 20'th century: Carl Carls, a player which opened every game with 1. c4 as white and Klaus Junge, the biggest chess talent of Germany in the 20th century (at least from my point of view).

Here we see Carls attacking and Junge defending (not his style). Junge was able to keep the ballance until move 19 with exceptional but passive moves. But 19... Ne8 was a blunder: After the easy 20. Qc5+ Black can not avoid the mate 20...♖d6 21. ♗xd6 ♔f6 22. ♗e5# or 20...♘d6 with the same moves and the same result.

May-25-08  technical draw: There's something, I don't know, psychological about this game. I keep thinking about my mother.
May-25-08  whiteshark: I keep thinking about Kempowski's 'Tadellöser & Wolff'. I hope, there's a explanation for it, too. :D
May-31-08  lost in space: I keep on stopping thinking.
