Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-30-09  YoungEd: I wouldn't have found 35. ...♖xe2, but I see why it's strong; for example 36. ♖xe2 ♕xe2 37. ♕xe2 ♘xf4+ creates a deadly fork and Black remains a piece and two pawns up with the better position. This would have made a good puzzle of the day!
Jan-08-11  fern: Re2 is pinned. The cause of the resignation is the Q has no good move....36. Qxe2 Qxe2 37.Rxe2 Nxf4+ forks the Re2. Black ahead a piece and two pawns. And 36. Qg1 leads to similar disaster.
Sep-05-15  eternalloss: Even simpler than the lines given, if 36. ♕xe2 37. ♞xf4+ wins the queen.

But, even better, checking with Stockfish 6 reveals that no matter what white does 36... ♞xf4+ is the start of a mate in 10. Here's an example variation: 37. ♔g3 ♞xe2+ 38. ♔h2 ♞d4 39. ♖2g3 f4 40. ♖g2 ♞f3+ 41. ♔h3 ♞xg5+ 42. hxg5 f3 43. ♔g4 ♛xg2+ 44. ♔h4 ♜f4+ 45. ♔h5 ♛h1#.
