Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-21-13  AlbertodaCruz: Merry Christmas and that in 2014 our dreams become realities. Thank you all for this wonderful 2013 for the development of our beloved Chess.
Nov-28-18  Dave12: Cool tactics
Nov-03-19  nummerzwei: One of the first chess periodicals that I've bought had an article by Peter Heine Nielsen on the teenage Carlsen's participation in the 2005 World Cup.

This win, played on Carlsen's fifteenth birthday, was attributed to his superior power of calculation.

Recently I learned that there is a 'twin', this beautiful game played by a thirteen-year-old Judit Polgar:

The subsequent play is very similar to the Carlsen game. Having heard of Carlsen's vaunted photographic memory, I wonder if he actually remembered the predecessor at the board.

Dec-07-21  K Any: A nice little gift from Magnus to Caissa on his birthday!
