fredthebear: This is a fluid battle that rages from center to queenside to kingside. Black is the aggressor with a clear space advantage but the nipping knight keeps White afloat. That exhausted horse shows True Grit!! Kamsky demonstrates that a well-placed long range piece (bishop, rook and queen) can influence the game without much movement at all. Ultimately, Black pays the price for overextended pawns on the kingside.

Shrewd finish by White forcing the Black king to back down in protection of the h-pawn.

Although there weren't any memorable combinations, this game is worthy of some recognition for all it's jousting. It would be interesting to know how much time the players spent on each of their moves.
