  MissScarlett: From Lasker's column in the <Manchester Evening News>, October 9th 1901, p.5:

<Twenty-six players sat down on Thursday night to face Mr. E. Lasker in the simultaneous exhibition announced before. After about two and three-quarter hours of play 10 games were decided, most of the other games being near the end. Mr. Carroll adjudicated upon the unfinished games, with the result that 19 games were won by the single player, whereas Messrs. T. H. Lambert, Booland, Earle, Lund, Eva, Nichols, and Saalfeld drew.>

<Black is described as W...r.>

An error by Whyld. <Mr. W.> is given. A possibility it could be one of the <Waltuchs>. https://mannchess.org.uk/People/Wah...
