May-02-06  EmperorAtahualpa: For future reference: this is a blitz game.
May-21-06  kingkill: 20.Bd2 and the knight is trapped
Jul-07-06  TaricHall: I was surprised at how Van Wely played here. Certainly not his best blitz. Not to take anything away from the prodigy, however. I was surprised with Van Wely letting his queen and rook get forked and then later his knight trapped...
Jul-09-06  mack: Carlsen's refusal to play Bb2 drove me absolutely insane.
Feb-04-07  IMDONE4: wats the point of playin b3 in blitz?

Steer away from well known book lines, home analysis, and pet lines with which the opponent is familiar and more likely well prepared. Going down obscure lines forces him to think harder and figure it out on the fly, which of course also consumes more time, and increases the chance he will make a mistake. Going out of book gives the better player more advantage.
