E. g. 24...h6 25.Nf7

White misses several chances to pick up the h7-pawn or at least to create more pressure:

Instead of 27.Nc3 better 27.Nxf6 [see diagram]

27.Nxf6 gxf6 28.Be4 Ke6 29.g4 Rg7 30.Bf5+ Kf7 [see diagram]

And White looks better (now the open a-file may come into play)

Instead of 29.Rxd7+ better 29.Bxf6+ gxf6 30.Rxd7+ Kxd7 31.Bxh7 (31...Rh8 32.Bf5+) but White could still enter that line with (29.Rxd7+ Kxd7) 30.Bxf6 instead of 30.Rd1+

Better than 33.Ba2 was 33.Nxd5 Nxd5 34.Bxh7 (a possibility still present when they agreed to a draw: 37.Nxd5 Nxd5 38.Bxh7)
