Benzol: Good to see this game up. It looked like a case of who was going to get there first. Well played Stan.

Richard Taylor: Good game by Stan. This was about the last time I saw Peter. I had a chat with him. I recall how he won the Premier Reserve in the NZ Champs Centenniel Upper Hutt 78/79 with I think 11 from 11.

He was / is very unassuming. Paul Spiller said recently to me he had taken up Bridge, perhaps it is a more sociable game.

Richard Taylor: Interesting way to deal with the Zaitsev that Karpov used to roll out for Kasparov. Stan had been doing his homework!

I'm back at Howick-Pak for the nonce so Stan and I might have another battle there.
