Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-03-07  Pawsome: Yet another upset with Kevin Spraggett as victim! With the benefit of hindsight 8. ... Bxd5 would have stopped the sacrificial shenanigans on the king's wing, (as 9 .... Nf6 would also have done a move later). But, even after 14. Bg5!?, it seems that white would be wise to take the perpetual check after 14...Qc8 15. 0-0-0 Nc6. 16. Qf3+ Kg8 18. Qd5+ Kf8. Still, after the weaker 14 ....Qd7 black was still in it after white missed 15. Nxb6! until he committed Hari Kiri and created a miniature with 16. ... Ke8?? instead of fighting on with Kg8.
