Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-31-07  russep: is there a mate here or does white just have a draw?
Jan-31-07  THE pawn: <russep> Black is lost.

If ...Qc6, then white plays Qxc6 Kxc6 Rxe8 and he's up the exchange in a won endgame.

If Kb7 then white plays Qd7+ Kb6 Rxe8 Qxe8 (Qa7 Qd6+ Ka5 and a soon-mate follows with Qd5+ Kb6 Rc8) Qxe8 and he's won the black queen.

Oct-09-07  dramas79: <he's won the black queen.> Aartie is a woman.
Jan-13-13  vinidivici: Good game. GOTD!
