The thematic move is 73...Nh5! with an eventual mate in the a1 corner. Instead Black played ..Nd4 74. Kg2 Nb5? and White should have escaped with 75. Kg3. Instead 75. Kf1? and Black closed the door with 75. Kf3

  FSR: <David2009> I'm guessing you mean 73...Nh4? 73...Nh5 is illegal.

White's 56.Kf2 was surprising. Surely 56.b4 ("b4 it's too late!") was correct, forcing Black to blockade the pawn a square further back?
