Kibitzer's Corner
May-19-07  Eyal: Poor Adams... missing a win for the 4th time in this tournament after excellent play. 30.Bc6! should win nicely, gaining at least an exchange and leaving Black in a very inferior position. 30...Ke6 loses to 31.Bb5 followed by Bc4+ and Bc5; 30...Ke8 to 31.Bf3! - again with ideas of Bc5 - and if 31...Rxd3 then 32.Bh5+ Ke7 33.Bc5+ Ke6 34.Rc6+ Kd5 35.Rd6+ Kc4 36.Rc7 Rxd6 37.Bxd6+ K-moves 38.Be7.

Adams has also blundered away the games against Sasikiran and Nisipeanu, he will have to play better than in Sofia if he wants to reach Mexico.

May-21-07  newton296: wow! 30) bc6 is a probably winniing for adams. U know kramnik wouldn't have missed that!!
Jun-02-09  WhiteRook48: 30. Bc6!! would win easily
